Hello and welcome to the official blog of The Curl Cast. We're so glad you came!

"But... isn't blog dead?"

First of all, rude. Secondly, you could be right.

But! There's a few reasons why starting a blog makes total sense for The Curl Cast. Here is a brief overview of what you can expect from our blogs:

1. An in-depth breakdown of any of the techniques we tend to gloss over on Instagram (as is the nature of such a platform). Blogs give us the space to share links, articles, products, images and any other resources that we simply cannot do on other platforms.

2. We want to provide an open platform for our community. Instagram often feels a bit like a one-man-show (or two-woman-show in our case). Our original intention was to create a community of people who want to share their experience, ask questions and get answers - but we didn't want to be the only ones who received all this goodness! This blog (and forum!) gives our readers the opportunity to connect with each other!

3. Content you actually care about. While we love sharing our experience on Instagram, some of the content is just for fun and may not actually be that helpful. This blog will be informative, down-to-earth and fun (hopefully). We want to create content that is easily findable, relatable and genuinely enjoyable.

This has been a long time coming, especially considering we've been a little slack on the podcast side of things (yikes). One day we will dive back in. We didn't invest in a microphone for nothing!

We're so excited to start creating some awesome content for you guys in the form of written word, so we can give you some more tips and tricks to navigate this wild and exciting realm of curly hair.
